A little communication goes a long way in creating a comfortable experience. Please take a moment to review the following before your session.

Booking & Payment

Appointments are booked in advance, and payment is due at the time of your session unless otherwise arranged. If you have questions before booking, feel free to reach out.

Cancellations

Plans change, and I understand. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so that the time can be made available to someone else. Late cancellations and missed appointments under 24 hours will be subject to 50% of the full session fee.

Mobile Service

Please provide your service address when booking so I can plan accordingly. Service area reaches from Shoreline to Renton, additional driving time is charged at $15 per extra mile outside of service area. A clean, comfortable space with enough room for the massage table is appreciated.

Health & Comfort

Your comfort and well-being are important. Please share any relevant health concerns, injuries, sensitivities, or changes in your condition before your session. Throughout the massage, you're encouraged to communicate your preferences regarding pressure, positioning, and comfort.

Professional Boundaries

My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for every client. Open communication and mutual respect help make that possible. Appropriate coverage is maintained throughout each session, and professional boundaries are always respected.

Arrival & Timing

Please be available at your scheduled appointment time. Sessions end at the originally scheduled time. There will be time alloted for a brief intake conversation as well.

Illness & Rescheduling

If you’re feeling unwell, please reach out to reschedule. To protect everyone’s health and well-being, I ask that we postpone sessions when either party is sick. Thank you for your understanding.

Travel Fees

My standard service area extends from Shoreline to Renton, subject to appointment availability and the specific service address. Addresses outside this area may incur an additional travel fee of $20 per mile beyond the service-area boundary, calculated using the one-way driving distance. Any additional fee will be confirmed with you before your appointment is accepted.

Client Intake

For your first appointment, we’ll set aside a few minutes before the massage to review your health history, discuss your goals, and complete the necessary intake and consent forms together. This helps me understand your needs, identify any relevant precautions, and tailor the session appropriately.

For returning clients, I’ll check in about any changes in your health or treatment goals before we begin. Your comfort, privacy, and informed consent are important throughout every session.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your personal and health information is handled with care and discretion. Information shared during your session is kept confidential and protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional obligations, with exceptions where disclosure is legally required or otherwise permitted by law.

Scope of Practice

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed healthcare provider. I do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatment. Please consult an appropriate healthcare professional regarding medical concerns.
